Teacher Anna Voloshyna
Join Ukrainian chef and cookbook author Anna Voloshyna for a cozy, hands-on cooking class celebrating the release of her new cookbook, UKRAÏNE: Recipes and Stories from Kyiv to the Black Sea.
Together, we’ll explore the comforting flavors of Ukrainian autumn, with seasonal vegetables, fragrant herbs, and earthy grains, and plenty of butter and sour cream. Anna will share recipes and tales of her travels across Ukraine as we prepare two versions of her craveable stuffed Cabbage Rolls—duck and vegetarian—to serve with Ukrainian Polenta, Butternut and Potato Fritters and Eggplant Caviar for a beautiful fall feast inspired by the book.
To conclude the class, we’ll share a convivial Ukrainian meal, with a selection of curated wines and non-alcoholic beverages and a sweet finish of Anna’s Poached Pears. Copies of UKRAÏNE will be available for purchase, and Anna will be happy to personally sign your book after class.
